Some of the best help I’ve found for my weight loss journey has come through books, not weight loss programs. This page is dedicated to providing you with a summary of those books. All of these books, although not traditional weight loss books, have helped me tremendously with my emotional overeating and with forming new, healthy habits for an awesome life. Enjoy! I hope they help you in our weight loss journey as they have helped me. Please click on the links to read my detailed ‘book review’ post on each book.
Here’s another, not-so traditional weight loss book. This book is all about how to identify the type of person you are when it comes to forming habits and then based on that analysis you can choose what style best fits you to help you form long lasting habits or break bad habits you’ve had forever. I did a review of this blog early on in the blog but I plan to break it down chapter by chapter and take a deeper look into how this book can help us to lose the weight and keep it off for good. It’s an easy read and very applicable from day one. (link to related blog post: http://www.foodlovemefoodhateme.com/a-book-reviewg…er-than-before/)
If I had to say “this is the way I could eat forever’ – this would be it. The Virgin Diet is the best ‘diet’ I’ve ever done that is not a diet but it truly a way to eat for the rest of your life. The best part about this book is that it leads you to understand what types of foods your body likes. You will really get in tune with your body.
